Rumours reveal that Argentine defender Marcos Rojo is United’s chief defensive target while United are also looking to sign Cuadrado from Fiorentina and Vidal from Juventus.

Marcos Rojo

The Sporting defender who had a brilliant World Cup campaign stands as a target for many clubs. He was a Chelsea target before Blues opted to rather sign Filipe Luis, and Rojo is also believed to be targeted by Liverpool.

Marcos Rojo, a versatile defender can play in left back position, but was materialised by his current club in centre back position for majority part of last season.

United could buy Rojo to play him in central defence, and he’d prove out to be a very good signing if Woodward speeds up his pursuit for a reasonable price.

Arturo Vidal 

A United target for the majority of this window, Arturo Vidal’s future has been a concern to both United and Juventus fans. There’s no certainty over Vidal’s future, as there are two sets of rumours, one revealing that he’s happy with Italian club and the other revealing that he wants a move to Premier League.

Nevertheless, Arturo Vidal and Manchester United could be a match made in heaven. He’s exactly the kind of player United need in midfield right now and his presence in the club could rejuvenate this Red Devils side.

Juan Cuadrado 

Another player who had a fantastic World Cup, Juan Cuadrado is one of United’s chief targets this transfer window. A versatile winger who can also be deployed at wingback since he can defend well enough, Juan can be a huge improvement to United’s wing play.

Manchester United are believed to have been negotiating with Fiorentina regarding player’s value and pricing and even reputable sources have revealed that Juan Cuadrado is interested in move while Fiorentina have agreed upon a price with the Old Trafford based club.
