Liverpool transfer news- 3 players United might sign within this week

Liverpool failed in their pursuit to sign Alexis Sanchez, after the Chilean opted to rather sign for Arsenal last month and with more uncertainties now revolving around their head with no proper backup to Daniel Sturridge, Liverpool have started to speed up their pursuit of players, clearly indicating that they might have gone to a panic mode.
Liverpool, like Chelsea last season, are looking for a short-term solution in Samuel Eto’o, a striker who arguably impressed with Chelsea last season.
Despite being called “too old” by his manager, Eto’o got a lot of chances to taunt Jose Mourinho in the field, as he celebrated important goals in Stamford Bridge.
Samuel Eto’o:
The Cameroonian striker played for Chelsea last season, and though he’s not the same striker he was in his prime, he is still a decent striker and may score plenty of goals with Liverpool’s gameplay.
A quick striker who can link up play beautifully, Samuel Eto’o is just the kind of striker Liverpool want, but unfortunately he is going to arrive at Liverpool at a very old age.
But still, Mourinho’s former “old” horse can still prove to be handy to Brendan Rodgers’ plans next season and if Liverpool could still buy another striker along with Eto’o, it’d prove to be a fantastic transfer window for Reds.
Alberto Moreno:
Alberto Moreno is a player Liverpool have been trying to buy since the beginning of this transfer window. There were rumours circulating in the press a month ago, that Liverpool have already signed Moreno and he’s just few steps away from being a Liverpool player.
However, it seems that it was not the case at that moment of time. Keeping that aside, Liverpool fans have a brilliant news incoming that Alberto Moreno seems to have signed the paper, with BBC, Sky Sports and other several reputed sources reporting the news and the fee is believed to be around 12m pounds which could be a fantastic pricing for the young Spaniard.
*Latest- Liverpool have officially announced that they have agreed to sign Alberto Moreno*
Mauro Icardi -
Mauro Icardi would be another young striker signing for Liverpool and the striker could form a formidable partnership with Liverpool’s current set of strikers, Daniel Sturridge and Origi in future.
But, Brendan Rodgers needs to pay high to get services from the Argentine striker and with the talent Icardi possesses, he might prove to be a fantastic signing for Liverpool in future.
