Arsenal transfer news- Three players linked with Arsenal

Arsenal sold Thomas Vermaelen  to Barcelona a few days back which means that they need a centre back addition to their roster, with rumours that Arsenal are looking to buy Manchester City’s young defender Matija Nastasic.

Meanwhile, a central midfielder is on Arsene Wenger’s shopping list for quite long, and Arsenal are believed to have been contacting William Carvalho’s agent regarding availability of player.

Here are three players currently linked with Arsenal -

Morgan Schneiderlin 

As ever, Morgan Schneiderlin is still being linked with the London club, but after all his twitter rumours and Tottenham being in his following list, Morgan might be a soon-to-be Tottenham Hotspur player.

But, nevertheless, if Arsene is really serious about negotiation with the player, he can have an upperhand with Champions League football to offer and a strong presence of French players within the club.

Morgan would prove to be a fantastic addition to Arsenal midfield and might be expected to make an impact straightaway.

William Carvalho 

After being touted as next Vieira by many, William Carvalho has plenty of hopes to fill on the boots for, but he could be a fantastic addition to Arsenal’s midfield, just like Vieira was.

A player with huge potential, William Carvalho is like a missing piece in puzzle for Arsenal midfield, and his presence in Arsenal’s holding midfield is just what required.

Arsenal suffered against top teams last season, majority of which was caused due to absence of an all round midfield player in holding midfield and failure of Mikel Arteta to adapt to it.

Matija Nastasic- 

After Mangala’s signing at Manchester City, Matija Nastasic sees himself down in the pecking order in City defense. With already a strong competition from Demichelis before, Nastasic now needs to fight against Mangala, Kompany and the Argentine that could see him getting less amount of playing time next season.

So, his concerns over his future seems to be valid and a player of his age needs to get regular playing time to properly develop as a player.
