Premier League table toppers after gameweek 1- Chelsea, will be looking forward to see newly promoted side Leicester City make their way into the Stamford Bridge this weekend.
With impressive display by the Blue boys, Chelsea marked their first victory of the season against Burnley with a 3-1 scoreline last weekend. Despite failing short on the 13th minute of the game, Jose Mourinho’s side delivered a much better performance to justify their standards as the premier league favorites.
Starting with the debut goal from Diego Costa, and impressive display from Cesc Fabregas had added a lot of positives among the Chelsea men and they surely will be looking forward to continue their same run hereon.
On the other hand, Leicester City saw their first start to the premier league campaign on a draw against Everton at the King Power Stadium and manager Nigel Pearson seems to be pleased with his squad’s performance in the top tier league in England. Leicester side came twice from behind to claim a valuable point from the game against Everton side, who might be expecting to challenge for the top four spot this season.
Danny Drinkwater will probably missing out against the Chelsea side while Dean Hammond could partner Andy King to replace Drinkwater. The away side are also not sure on the conditions of Marc Albrighton and Jamie Vardy while Matthew Upson has been sidelined from the weekend fixture because of foot injury.
David Nugent will be looking forward to partner club’s record signing Leonardo Ulloa in the attacking front while Chris Wood might look forward for a push to the starting role after bagging late equalizer for his side in the opening match.
On the other hand, Jose Mourinho will be looking forward to deploy Petr Cech back to the starting place and see the two top class goalkeepers play week-in and week-out and get equal playing chance in the team. Cesar Azpilicueta will be looking forward to retain his place in the left back position which would mean that Filipe Luis need to settle for the place in bench.
Chelsea side have won all of their last six matches against the visitors scoring 20 goals in those games and they will surely be looking forward to continue their impressive display to close down for the premier league title.
