One of the enticing fixture in the second week of the Barclays Premier League as two of the finest side go head to head looking get back to back win and continue the momentum in the league season. Arsenal travel to Goodison park looking to build on the win against Crystal Palace and will be out for a revenge of the last season when the Gunners were humiliated 3-0 by the Toffees.
Arsenal who saw their Premier League campaign start on a positive note when the Gunners struggled but emerged with all three points against city rivals Crystal Palace thanks to an Aaron Ramsey striker in the stoppage time that gave Arsene Wenger’s men all three points.
Everton on the other hand also won their opening day fixture against Premier league new boys Leicester City when the Toffees fended off the Foxes to get all three points.
There are a few notable absentees for both side coming into the clash as Roberto Martinez will be without striker Arouna Kone who is out for some time while Ross Barkley and Bryan Oviedo will also be unavailable for the clash. Steven Naismith is likely to start alongside Romelu Lukaku while Steven Pienaar should also start following his performance in the last game.
Arsenal on the other hand will be without Mikel Arteta who limped off against Besiktas with an injury while Kieran Gibbs is also out with hamstring problems. The German trio of Lukas Podolski, Per Mertesacker and Mesut Ozil should be back for the clash and should probably start on the bench for this one apart from Per who could come in for Laurent Koscielny. Calum Chambers is likely to start at the back for the Gunners.

Arsenal : Szczesny; Debuchy, Chambers, Mertesacker, Monreal; Flamini; Cazorla, Wilshere, Ramsey, Sanchez; Giroud.
Prediction : 
The mouth watering clash that could go either way as both side have enough quality to nick three points. Should be a hard fought and a tactical battle but Arsenal could just edge this one by a little.
