Chelsea transfer news: The Blues enter Cuadrado race
The race for the Columbian winger Juan Cuadrado has hit an intriguing corner after Chelsea entered the race for his services.
Jose Mourinho’s interest in the Columbia international ramped after the Florences reportedly enquired the availability of German winger Marko Marin, who signed for Chelsea from Bundesliga outfit Bremen in 2012. Mourinho has planned to offer the former Germany international along with additional cash for the services of Juan Cuadrado.
Manchester United is believed to be keen to secure the services of the 26 years old Fiorentina attacker and was rumored to be close to the deal after their newly appointed boss United boss Louis Van Gaal hinted at another big-money acquisition earlier this week, saying that the club does not have a winger of the caliber of ‘Cristiano Ronaldo or Angel Di Maria’ at the moment.
Chelsea is understood to attempt to outbid Manchester United’s €40 million offer by €45 million. Barcelona were also reported to be interested in the same player and are yet to make an offer.
The transfer rumor could seem pertinent after Chelsea’s attacker and Germany international Andre Schurrel became a transfer subject for La Liga title holders Atletico Madrid, who have are ready to offer in the region of €30 million
