Schalke vs Bayern Munich : Holders Bayern Munich travel to Gelsenkirchen to play Schalke in the much anticipated encounter on Saturday in the Veltins-Arena.

With midfield duo Javi Martinez and Bastian Schweinsteiger injured, Guardiola is lacking options in the centre of the park, but has brought Real Madrid star Xabi Alonso on his way to reinforce this area.
