Manchester United has placed a record breaking bid for Juventus star Arturo Vidal according to sources in England. They have made a £40m bid plus a swap deal for Javier Hernandez to land the highly rated midfielder.
Despite the Chilean announcing that he will not move to Manchester United, reports suggests that Juventus are open to negotiate the deal worth of £42 m and two United players, one of them is Chicharito
Chicharito’s agent Eduardo Hernandez hinted that the Mexican striker is near a potential move away from Old Trafford.
When asked about Chicharito’s future and switch to Juventus he replied “I have no news at the moment on an exchange, I haven’t spoken to anyone in England, but there will be news soon.’
It is also reported that United have until Friday to confirm the deal. Louis Van Gaal is willing to spend their club record transfer fee to land the 27-year old.
Mexican coach Miguel Herrera supported the speculations linking Hernandez to the Serie A side. He said that he needs to move on and gave him his blessings.
“I think Hernandez needs to leave. I think Juventus would be a good option for him. When you have your best experience, your best moment with a coach, and now the coach that wanted you is no longer there, it’s time to move.” Herrera said
