French league giants Monaco and PSG are believed to have readied offer for Chelsea goalkeeper Peter Cech.
Chelsea’s long serving goalkeeper Peter Cech could be on his way out of Chelsea as PSG and Monaco seem ready to land the player.
The transfer speculations regarding the future of Cech accelerated after the player was overlooked in favor of Belgium international Courtois for the Chelsea’s Premier League opening game last weekend. The player was believed to be seeking exit from the club should he loose the starting berth to the 22 years Belgium goalkeeper.
Nonetheless, Chelsea boss Jose Mouinho expects and wants the 32 years old Czech international to stay at the club and fight for the starting role.
“I hope nobody comes and I hope, as I was saying, I can keep two of the three best goalkeepers in the world which would be absolutely fantastic,” Mourinho told Sky Sports. “I think this goalkeeper with the history he has at Chelsea, he deserves every respect from us,” he continued.
Meanwhile, Viktor Kolar, the agent of Peter Cech, said his client has attracted interests from different club. He said, “Paris Saint-Germain have shown interest and we have also communicated with Monaco.” However, the agent was coy on whether the player his himself seeking the way out of the club or not.
“If he were to leave, we’re discussing two or three clubs in the world. The situation has developed in a way, of course, but for now he is staying at Chelsea,” Kolar told.
