Croatia Team Preview |
Shortcomings: The amount of objectives they can score is a worry on the other hand. They netted at the most minimal rate of any finalist throughout qualifying, averaging only 1.17 goals for every match and, alongside just Nigeria, never scored more than twice in a match. At the back, short proximity objectives were something of an issue: they surrendered a more noteworthy offer of objectives from inside the six yard box than anybody with the exception of Iran.
Prospects: None of their adversaries in Group A are advantageously imperfect from Croatia's viewpoint, with Brazil and Mexico hard to break down from the wings specifically. Brazil have offered minimal short proximity quarter while the Mexicans look equipped for receiving in behind the Croatian safeguard as an exchange, having scored almost a third of their objectives from short proximity.
