The Owls remain unbeaten in their last four fixtures in Championship and would look to continue that when they face Milwall on Tuesday. After conceding a goal late on against the Lions (Milwall) on Tuesday, Sheffield Wednesday manager said that the draw felt like a defeat.
The manager said after the game:
“I just said to the players, we’re going to have massive highs and massive lows and at the moment the dressing room is very, very low because it feels like a defeat.“[It's the] last 10 seconds of the game where we’ve conceded but it just shows this game of football that’s why we all love it so much; it keeps you on the edge of your seat and you never know what’s going to happen.”
Middlesbrough are likely to continue with Tomlin and Kike upfront while Chelsea loanee Omeruo is expected to form a formidable defensive partnership with Ayala in central defence.
Middlesbrough were also reported to have been interested in acquiring the acquisition of Chelsea’s young midfielder Nathaniel Chalobah on loan.
